Versatile and Beautiful Instrument
By: Ian on 8 July 2023I've been looking around for a HSS Strat that didn't cost a fortune, sounded and felt great to play. I'll looked at Fender, Sire and even FGN and I couldn't find any in stock at local stores to try. There is definitely a shortage of guitars in Australia at the moment. I saw a few reviews on the Schecter Nick Johnson guitars from John Nathan Cordy and Andertons YouTube and they looked and sounded great (although YouTube doesn't really do the sound justice). I tried an SSS in a local store, but didn't go much on the tone, then I happened to notice Pony had some in stock. I tried a few and found the Schecter Nick Johnston Traditional H/S/S Atomic Ink was awesome. It felt great to play and sounded fantastic. This one was with the Roasted Maple neck (not the ebony fretboard on Roasted Maple). This is a very attractive guitar.
