Laney Cub Super 12 combo valve amplifier

The Laney Cub Super 12 is a compact combo valve amplifier that is great for both home and stage use. Using the 1 watt input at home, you can get a very good quality tone at manageable volumes without disturbing family or neighbours. The boost and reverb functions are excellent. It's a very manageable weight so it's easy to move around and the build quality is excellent. Background noise is virtually nonexistent: no hum or hiss and in that respect, it's probably the best I have owned. In 15 watt mode and with the master volume at noon or above, the clean and slightly driven tones are excellent: this is the best sound from the amp in my opinion. Great for AC DC style riffs and chords. If you play mainly at home, but still have the occasional band practice or live work, this is a great option. The staff at Pony Music were really great too and the shop itself is nicely set up with a great range of gear. Highly recommended.
